Barbee Ruth's Gingerbread house

Well it took us two days to get the gingerbread house put together. Barbee Ruth liked putting the things on the roof. I did this part of the house of course.

Here Barbee Ruth is putting the cherry candy on top of the roof. She was not interested in putting the house together because Dora was on and she had to go watch it every few minutes.

I had so much fun doing this gingerbread house. I love to do this kind of stuff.

Busy Day

We have had a very busy day today. Church, shopping and baking three of my favorite things to do. I hope you had a great day and I hope the Lord blessed you in a special way.

The most wonderful time of the year!

I love this time of year, decorating, baking and spending time with family. We had our first family Christmas gathering tonight and had a great time. When we got home I did some baking. I wish I could put smell to this post. I baked a ginger bread house and it smells wonderful. We will decorate it tomorrow. I'm sure Barbee Ruth will have a great time doing that. Enjoy the pictures I added of some of our decorations.

The best part of this time of year is the celebration of the birth of my Savior and LORD! Don't forget the reason for the season.
