Joyful

Well much has happened since a posted last! Andrew had to see the Pediatric cardiologist and they found out he has several things wrong with his heart.....surgery was scheduled on 12/9/10 and Praise God he is doing well!!! He is such a strong little boy, we know that God gave him to us so that he could have his heart repaired. He had a coractation (kink) which has been there since birth. Andrew only stayed in the hospital for 5 days!! He only cried one time during the whole process...that was when he had to leave his Nick-Nick right before surgery. Andrew is such a inspiration to me and I know that God has Great Plans for him. It is really cool how God has worked all this out and it happened when it did. God has truly blessed us in so many ways!! We are so thankful for all the prayers that were spoken for him and our family. We are blessed to have such great people in our life!! Feeling VERY Thankful and Joyful this Christmas!!!

Disney 2010

We had a great time a Disney this year. A quick 4 day trip was fun for all. Nicholas and Jenny came with us and the kids sure did love having them with us. Here is Woody and Belle!!

I love the way they decorate the park, although we had a great time for now 4 years in a row, we are thinking about going at Christmas next year.

Look Who is 5

Andrew is now a big boy, 5 years old. We had a cake, ice cream, cookies, pizza, cheese puffs, grapes and watermelon. As you can tell I let my children plan the menu for their parties. Those are all of his favorite foods. We were bless with a great evening with with family and friends.

Tooth Fairy

Last Monday 8/30/10 Andrew went to school with all his teeth, when he came home he was missing one. We knew it was loose but he did not even know when he lost it. The tooth fairy did not come that night because we had hoped to find it the next day at school. Well, never one of his teachers knew he had lost it either. So Tuesday night the tooth fairy came and left him two dollars....he was one happy boy that morning. On the way to school he asked " Mama where does the tooth fairy live?" I said I'm not sure then he said " I think he lives at the dentist office. He is too funny some days. He also wanted to know what the tooth fairy drove. So many questions. Life is so full with this little fellow in it.

Barbee Ruth's in K - 4

Well our baby girl started K - 4 last Wednesday at the Learning Express in Greenwood.(She will only go 3 days a week)She was so excited about going, she jumped up that morning and even ate a big breakfast. She is like me...not a morning person sometimes. New shoes and all......

Mrs Ashlie is her teacher and Barbee Ruth just loves her. When Jennifer picked her up from school she told her " we went outside today and learned about God" WOW that is awesome.

Andrew - K 4

School Days are here, Andrew was a little nervous starting back to school this year. It was hard for him to understand the whole thing. Why he had to go and his Mei Mei didn't. She will start next week. When Jennifer (the best baby sitter in the world) picked him up from his first day he told her "Jennifer I have to do alot of work before you can come and pick me up". Poor thing it is a long day for him. "Welch" as Andrew calls her. He was very happy to see her that morning.

Handsome little guy!! I love him so much, he makes me smile.

EDISTO 2010

We had a great week at Edisto with some great people. Here are a few pictures of the fun we had. The Gang!

Barbee Ruth's 4

We celebrated Barbee Ruth turning 4 last week. It is so hard to believe that she is 4 years old already. We went out to eat on Friday night and then had a Cinderella Party on Saturday. Cupcake girl!

My Boy

I look at this sweet sweet face and wonder where he would be if God had not called us to adopt again. He everyday simply amazes me with what he learns. Just tonight while in the bathtub singing songs from VBS and the other night I walked past his room and heard him talking, when I asked what he was doing he said "talking to God". Days are long and hard sometimes but I'm blessed to have this little man in my life. Life does not get much better than this.

Love at First Sight!!

Three years ago today we were blessed with our Joy....Barbee Ruth Le Werts. She came to us smiling and has not stopped since. She has been such a blessing to our family and we Thank God for her daily!! It is amazing how much you can love a child.......

Ayden arrived on 3/1/10 and was a big girl....we are very thankful to God that all went well and she is such a beautiful baby. Andrew and Barbee Ruth love her to death. Andrew was the first to hold her and ask everyday to see her. Barbee Ruth was alittle afraid to hold her at first but soon thought it was okay. Our family is just growing and we are thankful!!
