Happy and Sad
Nicholas and I returned from a Mission Trip to Costa Rica with our church and was truly blessed. Costa Rica is a beautiful country and the people are very special. We returned on Friday the 18th and my father in law died that morning. He was not doing well when we left but felt lead to go on with the mission. My heart is both happy and sad now. Happy because of the great things God showed us and allowed us to do while we were in Costa Rica and sad because of the loss of a great man. It was awesome to see my son Nicholas do Gods work, as a parent it does not get any better than to see your child work for the Lord. I pray that God will bless you this Christmas.

THANKFUL HEART
As I prepare for the big day tomorrow I find myself being VERY thankful. To start with my Savior Jesus Christ is what I'm most thankful, a wonderful husband and 4 awesome children. I often wonder why God has blessed me so greatly. I'm also thankful for my wonderful parents and the love they poured out on my so graciously. I miss my mother so bad especially now that the holidays are here, but the wonderful memories of her and the love she gave allows me to keep going everyday. I realize without her I would not be the women I am today. I hope that everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving and makes some wonderful memories for your family!!!

My Babies-----Joy
Shot for joy to the Lord,
all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving

and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Happy Birthday!!!
These are are a few pictures from last weekend. The three of them had a ball running and playing in the leaves at RC's wedding. These babies bring me much great joy!!! I thank God for them daily.

Look who is 4.......
We had the privilege to celebrate Andrew's 4th birthday last week. His birthday was Thursday and he had a whole day of celebrating. Cupcakes at school then at Jennifer's house. That evening we went to our favorite place to eat to celebrate even more. I wonder what his little mind thought of all this when he probably has never celebrated a birthday before. He is such a sweet little fellow and so eager to please you in any way.

FLOCKED
Our church is doing a fundraiser for missions and when we got home from Hendersonville Monday the flamingos landed in our yard. BR was so excited to have the "mingos" in her yard. You know how much she loves them. She ran around the yard and played for 30 minutes with those "mingos".Well the flamingos flew off yesterday and she did not realize it until we left the house this morning. She cried and cried because they left her yard. I told her that they may come back and if they didn't I would have to buy her some. This is going to break the bank, had to pay 35.00 to get them out of the yard. But it is for a good cause.
I pray that everyone has a great weekend and remember to love the Lord with all your heart!!!

IT'S GREAT TO BE THREE!!!!!
Well Barbee Ruth is three and I don't know where the time goes. It is so hard to believe that we have had her for 2 years and 3 months. She was just a baby when we got her. She had a great day on her birthday the 30th with Jennifer and her boys. Here she is right after she got her nails done by Jennifer.
Lunch from McDonald's that her daddy brought for them to celebrate. Notice the cupcakes in the middle.

Here we are a the Mexican restaurant for supper. Barbee Ruth is blowing out her candles. Yes this is one of her "mingo" cakes.

Barbee Ruth and Andrew got new bikes!!!
Here is my babies at the big birthday party on the 31st. Of course it rained so we had to move everything inside the house again. It has rained every year on her party. Next year we need to do something inside somewhere.

This is the birthday banner that was up for a whole 30 minutes. So sad to plan and it rain on your party.
Barbee Ruth blowing out the candles again. She doesn't look too happy.

Well the last party was on Sunday with all the china dolls. Two of the other girls have birthday around the same time as BR's so we celebrated together with a little pizza, cake and ice cream.

Here is all our China babies. Of course mine are fighting over who is going to pull the wagon. We had a great time fellow shipping with our China families, we will always have a special bond because of the special children we have. We were missing one family and hope they will be with us next time.

Battle Scars
Barbee Ruth decided she didn't like Andrew on Friday. She clawed his face with her finger nails. And her famous last words are " I don't know" when you ask her why she does anything. Poor Andrew he just lets her do anything to him. I will be glad when he fights back some. Here they are with there homemade party hats. They can always find something to play with.
Poor little guy.
We are getting ready for a party at our house. BR's birthday is Thursday and we are having a "mingo" party. Stay tune for pictures and details.

MY BEAUTY
Barbee Ruth was in her first beauty pageant last weekend and she was just beautiful. We didn't win the title of Wee Miss Festival of Stars but she sure did have a great time doing it. She got on the stage and showed off big time. Waving, smiling and blowing kisses, it was priceless. Here is a picture of her with her trophy and crown (they all got one). So she thought she won and that's all that matters.
Today Barbee Ruth had to go to the dentist for the first time because she has a cavity. She was such a good girl!!! I was really proud of her. The dentist is going to watch the tooth and we have got to change some of our bad habits. So when we got finished we has some errands to run and we went to lunch. It was just a girl day. Barbee Ruth loves to see the animals in Uptown Greenwood so we drove around to see them for the 3rd time. She can not get enough of those things ( it is very beautiful up there).

Father's Day
We had a great father's day. We started the day with muffins and breakfast casserole for Rickey. Andrew helped me with breakfast because princess Barbee Ruth was still sleeping.
Here is the princess!!! Here hair is a not mess.
Rickey opening his card, his homemade. Since I had surgery and can not drive and didn't have anyone to take me shopping so we made a card. I guess that is is best kind to get.

More VBS
Here is the greatest tree ever. Nicholas made this tree and I think it is awesome. I would love for him to make one in the kids play room. (Whenever we get it done). We ended VBS with a BANG. Big storm came through and the power went out . There were a bunch of kids and their fans in the sanctuary waiting on the program that did not to happen. But that was okay anyway. Supper went on by candle light I hear, we did not stay. I think I did too much.
My sweet babies in front of the famous tree.
Say cheese!!!!
Nancy
Say cheese!!!!Some of the craft helpers. They did a great job without me!!!!! Nicholas did so good decorating and he did it on a dime. HAHA
I pray that many seeds were planted and life's changed through VBS. Thank you Sheila Hope and all the rest of the wonderful people who helped with Siloam Baptist Church's VBS.
